About the Club

CLAIRLEA WESTVIEW soccer club was founded in 1969. We're into our 37th year of continuous service to the children and amateur soccer players in our surrounding communities. The club is affiliated with community churches in East York, Scarborough and Toronto including All Hallows Anglican, St. Columba Anglican, Clairlea Park Presbyterian, St Bedes Anglican, Kingston Road United, Fallingbrook Presbyterian, Westminster Presbyterian, Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic, St. Dunstan Roman Catholic, St. Boniface Roman Catholic and Westview Presbyterian.

Each year the club holds its photo day at Variety Village. Our club runs a JOGATHON on the indoor track there and half of the money raised is donated to Variety Village. The players' efforts and dedication have enabled the club to donate more than $5,000 per year to this terrific centre. This year, we are trying to arrange Photo Day for Saturday, June 18, 2005.

Clairlea-Westview provides the opportunity for boys and girls from the ages of 5 through 19 to have fun learning about and playing soccer in well-structured house leagues on well-coached teams. From ages 10 through 18, we also provide opportunities for the club's more talented players to extend their skills in Select and Representative play against teams from other clubs across Ontario.
